LCol Clark joined the CAF in 1993. He began his regular force career at Royal Roads Military College and finished his initial degree at the University of Manitoba, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1999, following his training as a Signals Officer, he was posted to 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group where he served in the Headquarters, 1 Signal Squadron and the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians), departing Edmonton in 2003. Over the next 16 years, he was posted to CFB Suffield, the Royal Military College of Canada to obtain a Master’s of Applied Science in Computer Engineering, Land Forces Western Area, 742 Signal Squadron (which later became 3rd Canadian Division Support Group Signal Squadron), Canadian Joint Operational Command Headquarters, and 3rd Canadian Division Headquarters. In 2019 LCol Clark component transferred from the regular force to the reserves and was employed in Cyber Force Development and since 2022 as the Commanding Officer of 41 Signal Regiment. LCol Clark deployed to Bosnia with Operation PALLADIUM in 2000 (as Battle Group Assistant Adjutant) and Sudan with Operation SAFARI in 2010 (as a Military Observer)
