The Ground Antenna Transmit/Receive (GATR) is a an inflatable satellite dish that provides data and voice communications.

C7A2 Rifle

​The C7A2 automatic rifle is the personal weapon used by the Canadian Armed Forces. It is hand-held, shoulder-controlled, and capable of single or automatic fire. The C7A2 automatic rifle is a light weight weapon which is air-cooled, gas-operated, and magazine-fed. It can be easily disassembled by the user for inspection and cleaning. Its primary sighting system is an optical sight, which is supplemented by an adjustable front sight and an adjustable backup sight.

C9A2 Light Machine Gun

The C9A2 is a fully automatic, gas operated and belt or magazine fed 5.56 x 45mm machine gun. It has an effective range of 600 meters. Within the rifle section, the C9A1 is used to provide covering fire for the maneuver of assault troops in the offence and to cover enemy approaches in the defence.

Medium Support Vehicle System (MSVS) Special Equipment Vehicle (SEV)

The MSVS truck has a Maximum Gross Weight of approximately 10,000kg. 41 Signal Regiment holds two variants of the MSVS truck specially designed to operate as communications and headquarters vehicles. One of these variants folds down on both sides to provide plenty of room for workstations from which to command-and-control the battle.

Spectrum Analyzer

Signallers use the spectrum analyser to assist in configuration and troubleshooting of satellite and communication systems. It operates across extremely wide bandwidth, above 20GHz.

 MILCOT

The MILCOT truck is a militarised version of the GM Silverado 2500HD 4×4. 41 Signal Regiment uses these trucks to move both equipment and vehicles. 41 Signal Regiment uses several variants of the truck for different purposes; one variant is used for laying communication lines like fibre optic cable, while other variants are used for transporting troops and equipment and have built-in radio communication systems.

41 Signal Regiment trains to deploy communication systems, including telephone systems, in the most demanding environments. Our VoIP system enables us to provide telephone systems in the field.

The Combat Net Radio (Enhanced) [CNR(E)] is an upgraded version of the CNR(P) that improves the digital capabilities and can automatically report GPS position reports in addition to providing voice communications.
